December is one of the most beautiful times of year in Guanacaste, marking the beginning of the dry season. Expect sunny days, blue skies, warm temperatures, and low chances of rain. Daytime temperatures typically range from 80–90°F (27–32°C), perfect for beach days, outdoor celebrations, and sunset cocktails.

Throughout the week, expect warm tropical weather. Costa Rica is a super casual place! For daytime activities, think lightweight and comfortable clothing such as sundresses, shorts, sandals, swimsuits, tank tops and breathable fabrics.For ActivitesHorseback riding: closed toe shoes recommended but not required, swimsuit or clothes to be in the water and a towel. Helmets are provided if desired.Waterfall hike: water shoes/tennis shoes/closed toe shoes that can get wet!, lightweight clothing, a change of clothes, a change of shoes and a towel. It’s not necessary at all! Though CR colones is super pretty, almost all businesses accept US dollars or credit/debit cards. On our trip in 2022, we got away with zero colones on the trip!

Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. But the villa will be steps away :)

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony and allow our professional photographer to capture those special moments! Our photographer is AMAZING at what she does & she will appreciate us leaving that job to her!Outside of the ceremony, feel free to capture alllll the memories ❤︎⁠ and be ready to be in a few photos too :)We’d love for everyone to take lots of candid pictures throughout the trip!!
